Two YEL masterclasses highlighting humans in healthcare
Health systems are dependent on the availability, accessibility, and quality of their workforce to provide healthcare of the highest standards. The predicted shortage has become one of the top priorities for managers in healthcare delivery around the world. Our young executive leaders gained insights from this session with Dr Mohamed El Sahili, Medland Hospital, Zambia, Dr Giorgio Cometto, World Health Organization, and Mr SV Kiran, Apollo Hospitals.
The next session explored how essential good communication within hospitals is to foster a culture of transparency where patients and team members feel safe, feel heard, and feel informed. Thanks to IHF YEL 2021 Alumni Taylor Johansen, J. Antônio Cirino, John Kueven, and Leandro Luís for coming back to share their passion and expertise in this special workshop. |

You can sign up for an existing ride, or register your own local event (cycling, running, walking...) to bring healthcare providers in your community together for climate action. |
Two important opportunities to show your commitment to climate action
The medical and health community around the world is calling for leaders to make human health and equity central to all climate change mitigation and adaptation actions. Any individual or institution can sign the Healthy Climate prescription letter to national and country leaders. Show your support and add your signature today!
We also invite you to sign the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. As an individual or organization, join the call on governments around the world to develop and implement a legally binding global plan to end the health and climate risks associated with burning fossil fuels. |
